Job summary

Akaasa Technologies is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen our enterprise cloud security posture across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI. You will work with cloud, application, and network teams to identify risks and implement controls in hybrid NYC environments.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity focusing on cloud security, hands-on experience with multiple cloud platforms, and familiarity with CSPM and SIEM tools like Splunk. Onsite interview required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud security.

Position Overview

Client is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to support enterprise cloud security initiatives across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with cloud engineering, application, and network teams to identify security risks, strengthen cloud security controls, and support cloud security strategy across enterprise platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on cloud security and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms:
  • Microsoft Azure
  • AWS
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk
• Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including:
  • Identity and access management
  • Network security
  • Access controls
  • Security configurations
• Experience with application security, container security, or cloud platform security
• Experience supporting security investigations and incident response activities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills
