Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Arlington, VA, is seeking a skilled Assc. Delivery Consultant to design, implement, and manage secure AWS solutions for diverse customers. You will guide migration strategies, ensure best practices, and lead implementation with strong technical and customer-facing abilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, risk management, and documentation throughout project lifecycles, supported by AWS ProServe expertise and global best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of cloud architecture and implementing cloud solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience integrating AWS services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP).
• Experience programming with modern languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience with QA, testing, helpdesk, IT support, or any technician or quality assurance type work.
• Experience with two or more of: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases, operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement cloud solutions using AWS services with guidance from senior team members, ensuring they meet defined functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in workload discovery, requirements gathering, and preparation of engagement-related presentations to support your team's delivery efforts.
• Write scripts, configuration files, and code examples that demonstrate effective use of AWS services, applying best practices and maintaining consistent quality standards.
• Identify, evolve, and communicate risks and issues in your assigned tasks using data where applicable, collaborating with your team to resolve them promptly.
• Contribute to technical documentation including status reports, design documents, and requirements specifications while gathering and analyzing data to support recommendations.
