Job summary

Edward Jones is seeking a Technical Architect for Information Systems to drive threat and vulnerability management across a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment. You will lead secure cloud solution development, promote cloud platform adoption, and coordinate with distributed teams to ensure reliable instrumentation and monitoring.

The role requires deep cybersecurity experience, cloud multi-provider familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP), and strong communication across business units and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in cybersecurity as a practitioner.
• Experience with architecting secure systems and cyber security strategy direction.
• Experience across multiple large-scale cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong communication with business units, senior leaders, and vendors.
• Knowledge of network, storage, OS, IAM, PAM, SSO, encryption, and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead security solution development in cloud to meet firm needs.
• Drive adoption of cloud infrastructure platforms and hybrid architecture.
• Build relationships across teams and ensure services are instrumented for monitoring and debugging.
• Automate manual, repeatable system processes to reduce Tier 1 effort.
• Collaborate with project teams to deploy new solutions and PoCs.
