Nightwing seeks a Cloud Security Analyst to support a U.S. Government customer with on-site incident response for civilian agencies and critical asset owners. The role focuses on cloud security posture management, compliance validation, and risk mitigation for cloud-enabled capabilities.

Responsibilities include assessing cloud security, monitoring postures, and implementing security controls while coordinating with cloud providers and ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD suitability.
• 6+ years of cloud security or security analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP security services.
• Experience with security monitoring and SIEM platforms.
• Understanding of FedRAMP and NIST security requirements.
• Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and best practices.

Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution. Contract personnel perform investigations tocharacterizethe severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services. Nightwing is seeking aCloud Security Analystto support this critical customer mission.

The Cloud Security Analyst will assess, monitor, and secure cloud-based technology integration initiatives, ensuring cloud deployments meet security requirements while supporting pilot activities and production integrations. This role focuses on cloud security posture management, compliance validation, and risk mitigation for cloud-enabled capabilities.

Required Skills/Clearances:

The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
