Job summary

AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, is seeking a Software Engineer, Level 1 to join our on-site team in Annapolis Junction, MD. This role focuses on prototyping in the AWS cloud using Java and Python, and requires an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph.

You will implement MOAT in Java/Python, develop automated tests, collaborate with systems engineers in an Agile process, and contribute to AWS-based prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Five (5) years' experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the MOAT system in Java/Python using AWS services
• Implementation of automated tests at functional and systems levels
• Partnership with System engineers to execute the Agile process
• Prototyping of solution space in the AWS cloud
