Job summary

PRIMUS Global Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with hands-on Kubernetes Administration, AWS EKS/OpenShift, and containerized environments to design, deploy, automate, and support cloud-native platforms.

This onsite role based in Plano, TX requires expertise in Istio Service Mesh, Solo.io Gloo Mesh/Ambient Mesh, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Harness), Groovy, Helm, Shell scripting, Terraform, Ansible, NGINX, and AWS/Azure services to build scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Kubernetes Administration experience required.
• Deep knowledge of AWS EKS and OpenShift platforms.
• Experience with Istio or similar service meshes is expected.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Shell, Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or Harness) is essential.
• Familiarity with NGINX, cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments.

We have an immediate need for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes Administration, AWS EKS, Red Hat OpenShift, and containerized environments to design, deploy, automate, and support highly available cloud-native platforms.

This is an onsite position based in Plano, TX for a candidate with experience and deep expertise in Kubernetes, AWS EKS/OpenShift, Istio Service Mesh, Solo.io Gloo Mesh/Ambient Mesh, Jenkins or Harness CI/CD Pipelines, Groovy, Helm, Shell Scripting, Terraform, Ansible, NGINX, AWS EC2/EFS/Route 53, and Azure.
