Job summary

The Squires Group, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Platform Administrator to manage and automate AWS infrastructure in a Washington, DC area onsite role. You will work with platform, cloud, security, and application teams to maintain EDP cloud environments and support secure capabilities.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform, CI/CD for deployments, VPC and IAM management, and monitoring using CloudWatch/CloudTrail. US Citizens or Green Card holders only apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core AWS services and networking concepts.
• Experience with IaC and Terraform in cloud environments.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure components for EDP environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation tools.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Maintain code in Git-based repositories (GitLab preferred).
• Configure AWS networking components (VPCs, subnets, security groups).
• Support EKS-based workloads and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor platform health with CloudWatch and CloudTrail, create dashboards.
• Assist with secure cloud configurations and incident response.
• Collaborate with seniors to improve automation, reliability, and security.
