Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced cloud engineering professional to manage and optimize our shared cloud environment. The role focuses on administration, proactive automation, and ongoing support for customer access interfaces and infrastructure.

You will work with ITIL/TOGAF concepts, virtualization technologies, and scripting to improve performance, reliability, and security across large-scale cloud systems.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to automate cloud lifecycle and operations.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in OS and database administration.
• Solid networking troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools.
• Knowledge of API usage and integration.
• Familiarity with ITIL/TOGAF/PMP concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the shared cloud environment.
• Build, configure, tune and implement automation for cloud lifecycle and operational improvement.
• Support the web interface used by customers to access their cloud environment.
• Evaluate, develop, implement, optimize, and configure customer cloud environments.
• Escalate issues and defects as necessary and coordinate with escalation teams until resolution.
• Provide routine communication with customers on progress, status, and root cause.
• Support customers with DNS, IP, and firewall issues regarding the cloud environment.
• Work with architects to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
