Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring a Cloud Software Engineer in Dearborn, MI to design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions. You will build REST APIs, integrate data sources, and contribute to dashboards for diagnostics and platform health.

You will ensure robust logging, monitoring, and security practices while participating in an Agile team, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews. Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Experience developing or consuming REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience using Git-based source control and peer code reviews.
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and integrate REST APIs, backend services, data-processing functions, and event-driven workflows.
• Develop integrations with vehicle, service, engineering, manufacturing, and software-factory data sources.
• Support ingestion, normalization, validation, storage, and retrieval of telemetry and diagnostic data.
• Contribute to web-based interfaces and dashboards displaying diagnostic, operational, AI-performance, and platform-health information.
• Implement logging, metrics, distributed tracing, error handling, and health checks for platform services.
• Write unit, integration, API, and automated regression tests.
• Participate in code reviews and address feedback on maintainability, performance, security, and coding standards.
