Job summary

United Bank seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design and manage cloud and on‑premises platforms with a focus on Azure IaaS, governance, security, and automation in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with IT teams to implement policy controls, optimize monitoring, and support complex technical environments. A Bachelor’s in IT/CS and 5–8 years of relevant experience are expected; AZ-104/AZ-305 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or cloud roles.
• Hands-on Azure experience with IaaS, compute, storage, networking, and virtual desktop environments.
• Governance experience with Azure Policy and RBAC.
• Security best practices per CIS/NIST and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure and cloud migration strategies.
• Scripting/automation: PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or similar.
• Cloud monitoring, logging, and performance management knowledge.
• AZ-104 or AZ-305 preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, or cloud engineering roles, preferably within a financial institution or regulated environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS services such as compute, storage, networking, and virtual desktop environments.
• Strong understanding of Azure resource management, subscription design, and governance constructs, including Azure Policy and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience with infrastructure security best practices, including configuration baselines, vulnerability management, and alignment with frameworks such as CIS and NIST.
• Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments and cloud migration strategies.
• Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or similar) preferred.
• Working knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to support complex technical environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) preferred.
