Everforth ECS is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to work remotely in a government-focused multi-cloud environment. You will design, modernize, and accelerate cloud solutions using Azure and AWS GovCloud, supporting a 50+ tenant setup and complex mission-critical systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in cloud engineering, strong Azure/AWS GovCloud depth, and active certifications. You will collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant cloud

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related cloud engineering experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure GovCloud and AWS GovCloud environments.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust security clearance.
• Active Azure or AWS certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Provide SME guidance for designing cloud-based and hybrid solutions in Azure and AWS GovCloud.
• Develop PoCs and MVPs for Azure and AWS services.
• Maintain cloud architecture standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
• Provision, manage, and monitor Azure and AWS services to support operations.
• Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deployments.
• Support deployment of serverless components (Azure Functions, Data Factory, Synapse).
• Ensure secure cloud architecture with IAM, network security, and encryption.
• Conduct risk assessments and optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues.

Everforth ECS is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to work remotely . Everforth ECS is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join a growing Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and AI/ML teamin support of a government multi-cloud environment with 50+ customer tenants and growing.The Cloud Platform Engineer will supportall phases of development, design, modernization, and rapid development of cloud solutions in Azure and AWS GovCloud . The successful candidate will be comfortable working with complex, mission-critical systems and will bring both technical depth in Azure and AWS GovCloud services and adaptability to help shape the modernization journey.This role will serve as an engineer to support the development and infrastructure teams, ensuring that all cloud solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives .

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide subject matter expertise using best practices for designing cloud -based and hybrid solutions. Consult ing, designing, and implementation of complex cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud services , ensuring high availability, performance, and security .
• Develop proofs of concept and MVPs of Azure and AWS services to solve current challenges.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards, best practices, and security guidelines for cloud adoption and migration .
• Provision, manage, and set up monitoring in Azure and AWS cloud services/systems to support
• Build and improve GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments.
• Experience with deploying cloud serverless technologies and components such as Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Amazon EC2 , Amazon EKS.
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS data storage such as Azure Blob storage, Azure Data Lake Storage , Azure Files , Amazon S3, Elastic Block Store (EBS).
• Support design of secure cloud architecture, ensuring system components maintain strict compliance with ATO requirements and security frameworks (NIST/FedRAMP) .
• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities in the cloud environment
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of cloud solutions
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues, ensuring minimal impact to the organization and driving root cause analysis

Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000
