Job summary

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of distributed service engineering experience.
• Development experience in modern programming languages like Java, C++, C#.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Enable development teams by driving design for major service components.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Drive system design, architectural documentation and engineering reviews.

Skills

Distributed service engineering experience

Java, C++, or C#

Designing public cloud service control planes

Object-oriented design and SDK development

Knowledge of data structures and algorithms

Familiarity with network protocols

Understanding of databases and NoSQL systems

Linux knowledge

Education

BS degree in Computer Science

MS degree preferred
