Job summary

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to lead the design, build, and operation of a scalable IaC-driven cloud platform across private and public clouds. You’ll own provisioning, configuration, patch orchestration, and governance to enable fast, secure, and compliant infrastructure releases.

You’ll mentor engineers, implement policy-as-code, and drive FinOps practices while collaborating with SRE and security teams to embed reliability and observability from day one.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale IaC transformation and cloud migrations.
• Strong knowledge of security, governance, and cost optimization practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement IaC-based cloud provisioning across multi-cloud and private cloud environments.
• Design and automate end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle management including patching and scaling.
• Build cloud governance guardrails using policy-as-code to enforce security and cost standards.
