Tech Mirrors in Rosemead, CA seeks a Cloud Platform Architect for a contract role with 12+ years of experience. You will design multi-cloud strategies aligned to customer objectives and lead secure, scalable cloud architectures onsite.

Responsibilities include Terraform-based IaC, Kubernetes microservices, DR/HA planning, cloud security governance (CIS, FedRAMP), Visio diagrams, and documenting technical designs. Onsite role with focus on hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Requires 12+ years of cloud architecture experience.
• Experience designing multi-cloud, secure architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud security benchmarks (CIS, FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Develop multi cloud strategy, aligning with customer cloud vision and business objectives.
• Design solutions for cloud-based applications with appropriate providers and services.
• Implement robust cloud security measures and compliance standards.
• Plan and oversee migration of applications from on-premises to cloud.
• Design IaC environments using Terraform.

• Understand networking in Hybrid-Multi-Cloud environments and DevSecOps.

Cloud Platform Architect (12+ years exp)(Local need)

Contract

• Develop multi cloud strategy, aligning with customer cloud vision and business objectives.
• Work with Application and data architect to design solutions for cloud-based applications, which will include selection of appropriate cloud providers and cloud services.
• Implement robust cloud security measures and compliance standards to protect data and applications in the cloud.
• Good understanding of security governance model and must have implementation knowledge on Security benchmarks (CIS, FedRamp etc. ) ,
• Plan and oversee the migration of Applications from on-premises to cloud, analyze the on-premises application architecture and design the best migration approach.
• Should have a good knowledge in designing Infrastructure as a code environment using terraform.
• Design and implementation of disaster recovery and high-availability solutions in cloud.
• Should have good experience in creating technical design documents and Visio architecture diagrams.
• Good understanding of emerging technologies in cloud and AI area.
• Experience in working in a multi cloud environment
• Architect level certification
