Job description

This role is vital in ensuring the implementation, management, and security of Oracle databases in cloud environments. The selected candidate will oversee the performance, integrity, and availability of databases, enabling efficient production and support. As part of an innovative team, you will contribute to database projects, automation, and troubleshooting efforts that are key to the success of our operations. Your work will support a 24/7 production model, ensuring business continuity and excellence in database management.

Accountabilities
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases on Exadata and Oracle Cloud environments.
  • Administer and support Oracle Exadata Database Machine and associated components.
  • Manage Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including various DB systems.
  • Perform database capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
  • Automate database management tasks using scripts and optimizations.
  • Monitor database performance and preemptively resolve issues.
  • Implement security protocols and manage user privileges.
  • Collaborate with application teams on database design and optimization.
  • Manage database migrations, upgrades, and patches in all environments.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for production support.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in production environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Oracle Exadata Database Machine and cloud tools.
  • Experience managing Oracle databases in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Oracle database architecture, including ASM, RAC, and RMAN.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and cloud automation tools.
  • Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional or Oracle Certified Expert.
