Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Cloud Ops Engineer to lead operations across classified and unclassified environments, including DoD IL5/IL6 AWS or Azure. You will oversee incident resolution, security, and performance, while mentoring the cloud team and coordinating with cybersecurity, architecture, DevSecOps, and application teams to maintain secure production environments and RMF/ATO compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in cloud design/deployment, Windows/Linux administration, and a Top Secret

Qualifications

• 8+ years designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments (DoD IL5/IL6 on AWS/Azure).
• 8+ years administering Windows or Linux operating systems.
• Experience leading operations personnel on cloud or on-premises systems.
• Experience architecting, building, and deploying cloud platforms.
• Experience monitoring, securing, and troubleshooting critical infra.
• Mentoring engineers and establishing operational standards.
• Knowledge of DoD RMF/ATO processes and accreditation.
• Top Secret clearance; Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Security+ CE certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cloud Operations across classified and unclassified environments.
• Oversee incident resolution, maintenance, security, and performance.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, architecture, DevSecOps, and apps teams.
• Support RMF and ATO requirements and address operational risks.
