Job summary

The role emphasizes cost control, security auditing, and resilient architecture, with a focus on mentoring junior staff and improving deployment workflows. On-site in Texas with collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud tenant structures and allocate cloud resources efficiently.
• Support cloud onboarding by guiding teams through cloud adoption and providing training.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code deployments.
• Develop, maintain, and deploy Terraform templates for automated cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Ensure secure intra-cloud and inter-cloud connectivity across environments.
• Design and implement scalable and resilient cloud architecture frameworks.
• Define and enforce cloud governance policies to maintain security and compliance standards.
• Implement and monitor cloud security controls and conduct regular security assessments.
• Track and optimize cloud costs through monitoring and resource management strategies.
• Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies for cloud systems.
• Monitor cloud environments and perform performance tuning for optimal resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
• Automate routine cloud operations to improve efficiency and operational reliability.
• Manage Docker image repositories and container deployment strategies.
