Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Cloud Operations Engineer

LOCATION: Phoenix, AZ

SALARY: Based on Experience

In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the compute infrastructure used to power their real‑time meeting platform. You will drive operational excellence of their infrastructure through tooling and automation and will work closely with international teams to ensure the platform is constantly running at the highest level.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and upgrade our real‑time compute infrastructure
• Ensure our systems are continuously monitored and running efficiently
• Configure tooling for system scalability, ensure capacity for future growth
• Be the point of contact for our highly sensitive environments
• Work with subject experts to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter
• Participate in on‑call rotation with other team members and possible weekend escalation or urgent deployment

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
• 4+ years of relevant System Administration experience
• 2+ years of functional configuration management experience
• Strong automation mindset and a passion for root cause analysis and strategies to mitigate issues
• Experience with performance tuning and debugging scalability issues of real‑time servers and applications
• Experience working with global teams to provide high‑availability support to customers
• Experience of event monitoring, live troubleshooting, security vulnerability patches
• Proficiency with CentOS/RHEL systems
• Excellent communication and people engagement skills
• Experience with Cloud Computing platforms like Amazon AWS
• Proficiency with Python and Shell scripting
• Experience with SOC, FedRamp, HIPAA compliance requirements and implementation
• Virtualization implementation, administration on Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
