Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to operate and optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and support mission-focused teams deploying, scaling, and maintaining cloud-native solutions.

You will design DevOps pipelines using CI/CD tools and leverage monitoring/diagnostic tools to analyze application behavior and logs, ensuring security and reliability across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience operating cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GC.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years in cloud services or Master’s with 1+ year.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps, or Microsoft Azure Architect Expert within 60 days.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III within 30 days.

Work in a dynamic, large team environment supporting a large–scale government program, using next–gen tools, standards, and processes, including Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform/Terragrunt, and Python. Design and develop DevOps pipeline to drive rapid delivery of functionality using CI/CD tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, AWSCodeDeploy, etc. Usestate of the artdiagnostic tools and monitoring systems to provide analysis on Web application errors, including the identification and investigation of application behavior through code and log analysis and business logic

You Have :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
