Job summary

Datadog’s Cloud Networks team designs, builds, and maintains the production network infrastructure that powers our platform across AWS, GCP, Azure, and beyond. In this role, you’ll set technical direction for scaling our multi-region, multi-cloud footprint while keeping reliability and performance high.

Qualifications

• Deep networking expertise including BGP, route policies, and prefix advertisement.
• Experience designing and evolving large-scale Software-Defined Networks.
• Ability to code or script to operate and automate networking tasks.
• Comfort owning ambiguous problems and driving cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud network infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure in multi-region environments.
• Own connectivity between clouds, customers, and developers with scalable, secure paths.
• Set technical direction for data centers expansion while maintaining stability and performance.
• Improve cross-site and cross-region connectivity to support platform needs.
• Lead investigations into latency, packet loss, and connectivity failures with cloud providers.
• Identify and deliver network-related efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
