Next Signal Inc. in Cincinnati, OH, is building a cloud infrastructure engineering team to watch the clouds across AWS, GCP, and Azure and to own end-to-end surface area from day one. You will work on telemetry pipelines, outage detection, and cloud networking infrastructure in a fast-moving startup.
We value engineers who thrive in loosely defined problems, ship fast with AI-assisted coding, and are comfortable building new systems from scratch with observable impact for customers.
Engineering Full-Time Cincinnati, OH (or Remote)
Cloud providers fail, and when they do, billions in SLA credits go unclaimed because the claims process is opaque and manual. Next Signal monitors major cloud vendors, detects disruptions in real time, and automatically manages the claims process so customers recover what they're owed without adding operational overhead.
We're a small, technical team building something genuinely new. This is the kind of company you'll want to have been at from the start.
You'll build the systems that watch the clouds: network telemetry pipelines, outage detection logic, and the evidence collection infrastructure that wins our customers their money back. You'll own significant surface area from day one and work directly with the founding team.
This role is not for someone who prefers clearly defined playbooks or narrow, predictable responsibilities. It's not for engineers who would rather maintain existing systems than build new ones. If stability and incremental change are what you're looking for, this will feel misaligned.
We'd love to hear how you think about building systems that watch the clouds.
