Job summary

Varian is seeking a Network Engineer to support the FullScale Infinity Cloud (FSIC) in a global managed services capacity. You will manage private, public, and hybrid networks, lead onboarding of FSIC components, and ensure secure, scalable cloud connectivity using Azure ExpressRoute and VPN architectures.

You will collaborate with Service, Operations, Product Management and Security teams, maintain network documentation, and mentor junior engineers while providing top-tier customer service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS with 3+ years of relevant network experience.
• Experience with Varian FSIC, TPASS and CloudPlanner products preferred.
• Extensive Azure networking experience (VNets, subnets, NSGs, DNS, cross-subscription) required.
• Hands-on experience with ExpressRoute connectivity, BGP advertisements, and route exchange.
• Strong routing and switching knowledge (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP).
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security policy configuration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide network operations and support for FSIC solutions across private, public, and hybrid clouds.
• Lead onboarding for FSIC-designed products per configuration standards.
• Maintain knowledge of Varian applications and cloud services.
• Configure cloud solutions including monitoring, access control, security, and Citrix products.
• Configure ExpressRoute connectivity and VPN architectures; manage IP addressing and subnetting.
• Troubleshoot outages and perform root-cause analysis with timely resolution.
• Document changes and collaborate with other network engineers for best practices.
• Provide high-level customer service and mentor colleagues as needed.
