Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a senior software architect to guide cloud-native services and the AECDM data model. You will shape API surfaces, distributed-system patterns, and schema evolution across Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related Autodesk Forma initiatives.

You will collaborate with software architects, domain experts, and product teams to define contracts, governance, and scalable architectures across multiple teams, reporting to the Distinguished Architect.

Qualifications

• Senior individual-contributor role on an established architecture track.
• Collaborate with software architects, domain experts, and product teams across multiple Autodesk products.

Responsibilities

• API design across AEC Data: model resources, versioning, query APIs, and unify surfaces into one contract.
• System Architecture: Define cloud-native architecture across AEC Data services; design service contracts and event-driven flows.
• Schema Design Evolution: Design data schemas for buildings, infrastructure, spaces, systems; manage versioning and migration.
