the company is seeking a Software Platform Architect to lead the evolution of its Maestro platform into a cloud-native architecture. You will design database engines, storage engines, and distributed data systems to support massive scale and elastic performance.

You will mentor engineers, set standards for cloud-native design, and translate complex challenges into clear, robust architectural plans while aligning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience building large-scale distributed cloud systems is required.
• Experience designing core database, storage, indexing, query execution in distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve highly scalable, distributed, cloud-native architectures for core platform capabilities.
• Define architectural foundations enabling massive scale, elastic performance, and cost-efficient execution.
• Provide architectural direction across Product R&D and mentor senior engineers.
• Write code and prototype to validate architectures and translate designs into implementations.
• Communicate complex designs to engineers, product leaders, and executives.
