Job summary

Alight Solutions Ltd is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong AWS cloud experience. You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using Angular (front-end) and Node.js (back-end) with RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities include building multi-tier architectures, leveraging AWS services, and implementing CI/CD pipelines. You will work in Agile/Waterfall environments and contribute to secure authentication, monitoring, and high availability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in full stack development with Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, EC2, ECS/Fargate, CloudWatch, IAM.
• Skilled in serverless and containerized design using AWS SAM, Docker, ECS.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with upstream/downstream systems using Node.js or Spring Boot.
• Database management with Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with AWS Cognito, OAuth2.0, JWT for auth.
• CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• IaC with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Familiar with testing frameworks and backend testing tools like JUnit.
• Agile and Waterfall methodologies, continuous delivery.
• Version control with GitHub, Bitbucket, AWS CodeCommit.
• Logging/monitoring/tracing with CloudWatch, X-Ray, ELK.

Responsibilities

• Build robust, secure, and high-performance cloud-native solutions on AWS, using Angular/TypeScript on front-end and Node.js RESTful APIs on back-end.
• Implement multi-tier architectures and RESTful microservices; integrate with upstream and downstream systems.
• Proficiently use AWS services for application development and operations.
• Design and deploy serverless and containerized applications.
• Manage databases with RDS, DynamoDB, and Aurora (SQL and NoSQL).
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply IaC practices using Terraform for scalable infrastructure management.
• Employ testing frameworks and backend testing tools to ensure quality.
• Work within Agile and Waterfall frameworks with continuous delivery.
• Use GitHub and AWS CodeCommit for source control and configuration management.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Optimize performance and ensure high availability via AWS scaling and caching.
