Job summary

Clinically AI is seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the platform's cloud infrastructure in a modern cloud-native environment. You will work on GCP, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation to support browser extensions, mobile apps, backend services, and real-time AI processing.

You will collaborate with Backend, AI, Product, and Engineering leadership to design scalable, secure, and reliable deployments, with emphasis on observability, security, and cost

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering in cloud-native environments.
• Terraform proficiency for provisioning, versioning, and management.
• Hands-on with production Kubernetes (GKE) environments.
• Experience writing, maintaining, and optimizing Helm charts.
• Strong Docker/containerization knowledge and microservices architecture.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GCS, Pub/Sub, IAM, Cloud SQL, Secrets Manager).
• Monitoring/observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
• Understanding of security fundamentals and IAM, least-privilege, and zero-trust patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve cloud infrastructure on GCP with focus on GKE and secure multi-environment deployments.
• Maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform for reproducibility and automation.
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for consistent deployments, upgrades, and environment management.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines to support reliable deployments across staging, beta, and production.
• Partner with engineering and leadership to design scalable infra for services, AI pipelines, and high-throughput workloads.
• Implement comprehensive observability, alerts, metrics, tracing, and health checks.
• Drive infrastructure security practices and on-call readiness, incident response, and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with Backend, AI, and Product teams to support new features and data pipelines.
