Job summary

Veeam is seeking a Summer Intern to join the 2027 program (June–August, 10 weeks). You will design, develop and test features for Kasten by Veeam's K10 in cloud-native backup and disaster recovery, and help prepare design and test artifacts including CI/CD pipelines.

The program targets Master’s students in Computer Science or related fields, with a passion for scalable, concurrent systems, testing, automation and open collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Interest in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multithreaded, concurrent systems.
• Interest in distributed systems, concepts and client-server architectures.
• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, concurrency).
• Passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation.
• Impact and result-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test features related to Kasten by Veeam's product K10 in cloud native backup and disaster recovery.
• Preparation of design documents and use them to conduct design reviews with the team.
• Preparation of test plans for testing features and present the test plan to the team.
• Design and development of CI/CD test pipelines meant for testing features.
