Mandatory & Desired Skills

• Demonstrated experience and organizational skills to lead a team of 80+ strong technical globally dispersed consultants, including managers in multiple operational domains
• Experience mentoring and developing managers
• Demonstrated experience with operations adoption of IaC in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS
• Significant familiarity with 3 or more domains (cloud platforms, security, infrastructure, tech strategy, business strategy, etc.)
• Strong public cloud experience with 10+ years of architectural expertise and 2+ years of direct leadership experience including strategy setting, operational excellence, and efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to design complex architectures and understand the technical roles needed to organize a team to develop technical solutions
• Proven experience in leading large complex technical cloud initiatives in regulated environments leveraging Change, Problem, and Incident Management processes
• Excellent interpersonal communication, self-awareness, social acumen, team building, and personal credibility skills
• Application performance monitoring tools: Dynatrace

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver Cloud Administration and Support Services, Site Reliability Engineering Services, Database Administration and Support Services, Middleware Systems Administration and Support Services, and Batch Job Administration and Support Services
• Lead and manage a team of technical cloud consultants, setting goals, expectations, and ensuring alignment to corporate metrics
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and career development; grow and manage the team through people development processes, hiring, feedback loops, and adjustments
• Contribute to industrialization of client’s cloud solution processes to improve efficiencies, solution accuracy, and increase technical cloud expertise as the market evolves
• Work closely with customers, client sales, 3rd‑party providers, and other business units to ensure consulting engagements are successful
• Understand client’s technical business and cloud needs, translating them into technical requirements for cloud‑based solutions
• Analyze and recommend change programs to drive operational efficiencies via cloud/DevSecOps operating models
• Provide architecture overview and quality assurance for programs
• Shape overall solution with customer teams and progress to design and implementation stage
• Collaborate with customer technology, application, security, and business stakeholders to gather and document requirements per the agreed plan
• Potentially own the delivery plan and assume delivery manager responsibilities for a multi‑resource team
• Perform due diligence on proposed designs, identify potential issues, and recommend options
• Interface with other technology groups to promote common tools and standards globally
• Perform impact analysis of proposed major changes to the process/technology landscape of customer systems
• Maintain a close relationship with customer architecture teams; communicate at C‑level verbally, in writing, and via presentations
