Job summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux administrator to support Linux desktops and remote servers, with cloud-based and on-prem solutions. The role involves building and maintaining Cloud-in-a-box infrastructure (Nutanix) and AWS resources, plus hardware deployment and network troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, a CS/IT degree, and about 7 years of Linux experience, with proficiency in DevOps tools and scripting for IaC environments.

Qualifications

• Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP) is required or willing to obtain within 1–2 months.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Approximately 7 years of experience in Linux server/desktop administration and network troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and willingness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Workstation and Server support: Local Linux Desktop, Remote Linux Server, cloud-based server support.
• Support local and remote Cloud-in-a-box infrastructure (Nutanix).
• Manage and maintain cloud-based resources (AWS).
• Hardware deployments and troubleshooting.
