Job summary

Invences Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You will automate operations with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation and work with DevOps teams to enhance security and availability.

The role requires hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and proficiency in Python or Bash scripting. You will monitor systems and optimize costs while following best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with cloud automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and cloud-architecture principles.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot cloud-based issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments.
• Automate and streamline cloud-based operations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Work with development teams to create cloud-based applications and services.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide solutions. Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Ensure cloud environments meet industry best practices and security standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and IT teams to support business-critical systems.
