Job summary

Highbrow Technology Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Automation Engineer to lead automation for provisioning, build and deployment activities for NC FAST applications. You will ensure consistent and reliable deployments across environments, enhancing CI/CD workflows with AWS, Ansible, and IaC practices.

The role requires Linux expertise, experience with Ansible Tower/AWX, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting. On-call duties evenings/weekends may apply to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience automating Linux OS patching and upgrades across multiple environments using automation tools like Ansible.
• Hands on experience with Git/GitHub or Bitbucket as source code management.
• Automating build/deploy processes including database changes using Ansible.
• Experience developing automation scripts and workflows using Python/Bash/Shell.
• Containerize with Docker and manage workloads with Kubernetes.
• Provisioning, configuring and managing environments with Terraform and Ansible.
• Developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation efforts for infrastructure provisioning, build and deploy activities for NC FAST applications.
• Ensure consistent, reliable deployments across environments and improve CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to optimize release processes and tooling.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and maintain Ansible playbooks and related scripts.
• Be on call for evenings and weekends to meet business needs.
