Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. seeks a Cloud Hardware Development Engineer to define server architectures for AI/ML workloads, guiding ODM partners through development and production.

You will own validation from PCBA bring-up to fleet deployment and drive quality improvements across PCIe, memory, and accelerator interconnects. You will lead cross-team collaborations, mentor engineers, and contribute to hiring while covering thermal, mechanical, and power delivery design.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in server technologies: thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.
• Experience in creating functional specifications, design verification plans and test procedures.
• 2+ years of hardware design, development and validation for server or compute platforms.

Mansioni

• Define server architectures based on workload demand and translate them into detailed designs and component specifications.
• Drive design reviews with ODM/JDM partners covering schematic, layout, BOM, and manufacturing DFx.
• Define and execute validation strategies from PCBA bring-up through server and rack integration, including power sequencing and thermal characterization.
• Own fleet quality metrics post-launch and drive design or process changes based on telemetry.
