Job summary

Cardinal Health's Infrastructure Governance team leads a high-skill Cloud Engineering organization, shaping risk management and secure cloud operations across GCP, Azure, and AWS. The role focuses on policy enforcement, compliance reporting, and proactive remediation to protect critical services.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in security compliance governance or an equivalent technical risk management role preferred.
• Leadership experience mentoring or directing a team of engineering professionals.
• Extensive, hands-on knowledge of multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Working knowledge of security frameworks, particularly NIST CSF (Cybersecurity Framework).
• Regulatory & compliance acumen: HIPAA, HITRUST, SOX, GDPR.
• Experience using and integrating GRC platforms, ServiceNow, and cloud-native security tools (Prisma, Wiz, Sentinel, CSPMs).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing Cloud Engineering team.
• Expand governance scope beyond CSPM to include security policy enforcement, vulnerability, data, and application security management.
• Champion automation and AI to deliver real-time compliance results and accelerate remediation of cloud risks.
• Govern firewall rule policies to align with network standards and direct the certification program.
• Oversee CSPM and cloud-native security solutions across GCP, Azure, and AWS.
• Coordinate remediation campaigns using ServiceNow and GRC platforms to assign and verify resolutions.
• Manage quarterly SOX server certifications and address findings with urgency.
• Develop governance metrics with monthly KPIs and quarterly ROC reports for leadership.
• Support regulatory audits (FDA, HITRUST) with evidence across the organization.
