Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC seeks a Network Forensics Cybersecurity Analyst to support critical government missions in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on on-site incident response, investigations, and rapid remediation of cyber threats with hands-on data and network analysis.

Responsibilities include coordinating incident response, analyzing anomalous activity, and producing CND guidance and reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with DHS suitability.
• 8+ years of direct experience in network investigations.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network topologies.
• Experience with incident response and evidence handling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Government lead in coordinating preliminary incident response investigations.
• Assist the Government lead with interfacing with the customer on-site.
• Determine appropriate actions in response to identified anomalous network activity.
• Collect network intrusion artifacts (e.g., PCAP, domains, URI’s) for mitigation.
• Analyze identified malicious network activity to determine exploitation methods and effects.

HIRT provides DHS’s front-line response for cyber incidents and proactive hunting for malicious cyber activity. Nightwing provides support for on and offsite incident response to Government agencies and critical infrastructure owners who experience cyber-attacks. Nightwing provides HIRT advanced technical assistance, proactive hunting, rapid onsite incident response, and immediate investigation, using host and network-based cybersecurity analysis capabilities.
