Job summary

Medpace is seeking a full-time Application Architect to design solutions for enhancements, integrations, migrations, and other system needs. You will collaborate with development teams and SMEs, research new technologies, and build prototypes to prove business value.

Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science and 8+ years in software development. Azure experience is a plus; deep knowledge of microservices, APIs, databases, C#, and Angular.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or closely related field.
• 8+ years of Software Development experience.
• Azure cloud experience is a plus.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Expert knowledge of APIs, Databases, and C#.
• Expert understanding of Front-End Frameworks (Angular).
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, systems and processes.
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process for application software.
• Recommend architectural approaches that support maintainability, extensibility, and interoperability.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks in data integrity, security, and disaster recovery.
• Provide guidance to software development teams regarding patterns and governance.
• Contribute to private code repositories and governance of code usage.
• Build and test prototypes; liaise with teams to craft deployments.
• Conduct code reviews, security reviews, and architectural reviews.
