Job summary

PineQ Lab Technology seeks a Senior Cloud FinOps SME to lead cloud financial management, cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and executive reporting across Azure-led multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has deep Azure expertise, working knowledge of GCP, hands-on experience with Apptio Cloud, and strong stakeholder communication to partner with engineering, architecture, operations, and finance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading FinOps in Azure and GCP environments.
• Ability to implement cost allocation, dashboards, and show-back models.
• Strong analytical skills in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure and GCP cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Manage cloud financial governance, tagging standards, allocation rules, and unit-cost metrics.
• Develop show-back/chargeback models, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Drive cost accountability across engineering, architecture, operations, finance, and procurement.
• Provide cloud cost models and financial analysis for migration and modernization initiatives.

Seeking a Senior Cloud FinOps SME to lead cloud financial management, cost optimization, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and executive reporting across Azure-led multi-cloud environments. Must have deep Azure expertise, working knowledge of GCP, and hands-on experience with Apptio Cloud ability.

Must-Have Skills

• Apptio Cloud ability: Cost allocation, optimization insights, budgeting, forecasting, dashboards, reporting, and business-unit views.
• GCP FinOps: Cloud Billing, budgets, committed use discounts, labels, resource utilization, and cost optimization.
• FinOps Framework: Show back/chargeback, cost allocation, unit economics, rate optimization, governance, and anomaly management.
• Cloud Cost Optimization: Identify idle, orphaned, oversized, and underutilized resources; track savings through realization.
• Financial Analysis: TCO, ROI, cost modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Reporting & Analytics: Power BI, Excel, SQL, APIs, or equivalent tools.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
