Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in New York is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer to drive AWS platform engineering and cloud modernization. You will define reusable platform patterns, govern IaC and CI/CD, and coach engineers to ensure operational readiness.

The role demands strong leadership, governance and security focus with FinOps awareness. Onsite coordination with offshore teams is part of the responsibilities, in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Strong experience with AWS platform engineering and cloud services.
• Leadership in engineering governance and security practices.
• Familiarity with FinOps and cloud security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud engineering delivery and define reusable platform patterns.
• Govern IaC, CI/CD, security, observability and operational readiness.
• Coach engineers and resolve complex platform issues.
• Coordinate cloud modernization and production transitions.
• Onsite-coordinator role for offshore teams; perform RCA and implement solutions.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• AWS platform engineering across EC2/EKS/ECS/Lambda/VPC/IAM/RDS
• IaC, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, observability and DR
• Engineering governance, standards and technical leadership
• FinOps and cloud-security awareness

Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000 a year

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead cloud engineering delivery and define reusable platform patterns

• In addition, should be able to do the following
• 1. Play the role of onsite co-Ordinator for offshore
• 2. Able to conduct RCA and provide and Implement solutions
