Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Cloud Engineer for the Beaverton, Oregon area to keep our data platform fast and resilient. With 5 years of experience, you will own cloud infrastructure, ArgoCD, Pulumi on-call, and AWS operations, delivering scale and reliability in a remote-native edge environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.

• Experience with ArgoCD, Pulumi, Ansible, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Scale Lyft's ArgoCD services from Beaverton pilot to OR-wide rollout.
• Catch the Incidents regression in staging before it reaches Beaverton customers.
• Mentor the mid-level cohort through their first real Pulumi on-call at Lyft.
• Decide when to buy ArgoCD versus build it for Lyft's Beaverton, OR stack.
• Chase down the Ansible integration that silently drops Lyft events at midnight.
