Cloud Engineer, Mid The Opportunity: Manages, administers, supports and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Applies specific functional knowledge, working or general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance, may review or guide activities of more junior employees.

You Have:

• Experience with management of DoD cloud environments, including AWS
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments
• Experience deploying applications into IL-4 or higher secure environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Knowledge of DoD accreditation processes, including RMF and ATO workflows
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience serving as a technical liaison between engineering and enterprise deployment teams
• Experience supporting systems requiring formal accreditation and continuous monitoring of DoD Systems
• Experience supporting IL-5 or IL-6 environments
• Knowledge of container technologies, including AKS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Cloud cost optimization methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in IT or a Cyber related field

DoD 8140 Certification

Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
