DANE LLC is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to support a federal modernization program in Crystal City, VA. The role requires hands-on experience with cloud or on‑prem infrastructure and a willingness to grow across both domains.

You will join a DevOps team focused on CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and platform support, with a clear path for learning and career growth in a mission-driven engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Active DOD Secret Clearance required.
• Minimum 2+ years in Cloud/DevOps roles.
• Hands-on CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with GitLab, AWS, EKS, Terraform or Jenkins, OpenShift, Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to cross-train in cloud and on-prem.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and automation across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Participate in infrastructure provisioning and deployment automation across both environments.
• Troubleshoot, document, and improve deployment, monitoring, and security automation.
• Collaborate across cloud and on‑prem teams through peer programming and cross‑team projects.
• Share learnings and best practices across the DevOps organization.
