Job summary

Brady Corporation is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize our multi-cloud infrastructure and Google Workspace ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy highly available, cost-effective cloud solutions and drive Workspace optimizations across global operations.

The role focuses on GCP/Azure, IaC, container orchestration, and FinOps, with a strong emphasis on security, reliability, and scalable processes. Milwaukee-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in cloud engineering, IT infrastructure, or software development.
• GCP or Azure services expertise.
• Experience administering Google Workspace and Cloud Identity.
• Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Docker.
• Scripting and automation proficiency (Python, Bash, Go).
• Strong problem-solving and cross-team communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, administer, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure (GCP/Azure).
• Manage Google Workspace environment and Cloud Identity.
• Implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible for secure, scalable deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and optimize costs (FinOps).
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Collaborate with security and software teams on modernization projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and controls.
• Participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
