Job summary

A global advisory and technology services provider is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and manage secure cloud solutions for government and commercial clients. This fully remote role requires an active Top Secret clearance and at least 2 years of experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). The candidate will build cloud-native solutions using Infrastructure as Code, implement CI/CD pipelines, and work closely with DevSecOps teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments
• Build and maintain cloud-native solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
• Support application and data migrations to cloud platforms
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance, security controls, and best practices
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cost and reliability
• Document architectures, configurations, and operational procedures

What You Will Do

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and support secure, scalable cloud solutions that enable mission-critical systems for government and commercial clients. This role works closely with architects, developers, and DevSecOps teams to implement cloud-native architectures and modernize legacy platforms.

Job Location: This is a fully remote role which may require occasional travel to the DC Metro area as needed for onsite client meetings. Preference to candidates located within the Washington, DC Metro area.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
