Job summary

Schrödinger seeks a Cloud Engineer to join us in transforming drug discovery through a scalable cloud platform. You’ll bridge development and operations to accelerate R&D, reduce costs, and enable breakthroughs within a collaborative IT environment.

We expect 5+ years in enterprise cloud engineering, a BS in CS/IT or related field, and a strong track record of defining internal standards. Proficiency with GCP, Terraform, Ansible, and scripting is required.

Qualifications

• At least five years of real-world cloud engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or comparable professional experience.
• Proven track record of creating and improving internal standards, processes, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and architecture of cloud solutions that meet scalability, performance, and security needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs and strategies.
• Empower staff to optimize cloud resources, including cost, security, and compliance.
• Apply automation, IaC, monitoring, logging, diagnosis, and troubleshooting best practices.
• Introduce new technologies to enhance the company's cloud capabilities.
