VytlOne is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications. This fully remote role supports a nationwide US footprint and reports to the Principal Architect.

The ideal candidate will drive IaC, CI/CD, monitoring, security, and migration initiatives across Azure, AWS, or GCP, collaborating with DevOps and security teams to ensure reliable, compliant cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our architecture and engineering team. Reporting directly to the Principal Architect, this role is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and services that support our enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives.

Location

Fully remote anywhere within Continental US.

Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design

• Collaborate with the Principal Architect to design secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend services and technologies aligned with business goals.

Infrastructure Automation

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.

Monitoring & Performance Optimization

• Configure and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Salt Security).
• Analyze system performance and optimize cloud resources for efficiency and cost savings.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, API Security, and network security.
• Support compliance initiatives (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST) through proper configuration and documentation.
• API Manager Standardization and API-Sec Implementation.
• Oversight and implementation of Application Security (SCA/DAST/SAST)
• Create and update SBOM

Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide Tier 1/2 support for cloud infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services and integrations.

Cloud Migration & Integration

• Assist in planning and executing migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Integrate cloud services with legacy systems and third-party platforms.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with DevOps, software engineering, and security teams to ensure seamless cloud operations.
• Maintain clear documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and configurations.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred but no required

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Experience with Azure DevOps, ARM templates, and Azure Policy
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and Databricks
