Job description

Some engineers tolerate complexity; the Cloud Engineer we want at Business Advisory Corp hunts it down and refactors it out of existence. The shape of it is simple — bring 3 years and Kubernetes, take home $70,000 - $94,000, and grow into whatever Business Advisory Corp builds next.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-tested code that scales with Business Advisory Corp's growing user base
• Cut Bash Scripting cold-start times so Business Advisory Corp functions wake before FL users notice
• Catch the Critical Thinking race conditions that only surface under Tallahassee peak traffic
• Prototype rough Infrastructure as Code ideas fast, then decide which earn a place in Business Advisory Corp's stack
• Document the Splunk system so the next mid-level engineer onboards in days, not weeks
• Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
• Translate fuzzy product wishes from Business Advisory Corp stakeholders into shippable Observability services
• Mentor newer mid-level hires on how Business Advisory Corp actually wires Observability together

What You'll Bring

• Real proficiency with Bash Scripting, plus willingness to learn Critical Thinking fast
• Hands-on technology experience that holds up to follow-up questions
• A gently-demanding bias toward action, balanced by knowing when to wait
• A teammate's instinct to unblock others before yourself
• A growth mindset that treats feedback as fuel, not threat
• Comfort with a Business Advisory Corp pace that rarely sits still

We're Business Advisory Corp — a people-centered Tallahassee, FL outfit that treats Critical Thinking less like a feature and more like a craft. We build an environment where bias-to-action ideas get tested quickly and credit is shared fairly.

Yours for the taking: $70,000 - $94,000, a mentor, a benefits plan, and the room to grow your Bash Scripting and Change Management side by side.

The part-time seat is open right now, refreshed and ready for resumes.
