Job description

The phrase \"it works on my machine\" makes you wince, which is exactly why you'd make a great Cloud Engineer here in San Jose. This San Jose opening trades 5 years and Cost Optimization for $120,000 - $172,000, then layers on the ownership most listings only hint at.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design reviews for mid-level technology initiatives
• Cut Multitasking cold-start times so InnovateCore functions wake before CA users notice
• Build the purpose-soaked Packer feature that wins back the CA accounts InnovateCore lost
• Own the unpretentious Terraform subsystem that the rest of InnovateCore quietly depends on
• Build responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with Terraform
• Translate technology compliance rules into Jenkins guardrails baked into the build

What You'll Bring

• The self-awareness to know which problems are yours to solve
• A steady hand when three priorities all claim to be number one
• Judgment seasoned by at least 4 years of real consequences
• A point of view on InnovateCore's space, sharpened by your own reading

InnovateCore grew up alongside its customers, scaling from a single San Jose room into the technology partner much of CA now trusts. We swap Packer and Multitasking tips over lunch because nobody here pretends to know it all.

What sits behind the $120,000 - $172,000 offer is an InnovateCore culture built on real mentorship, generous benefits, and schedules that bend toward family.

We refreshed it today so candidates know the remote role is genuinely open.
