We are looking for a cloud engineer who has strong expertise in cloud/infrastructure engineering, and has participated in building high-performance, scalable, and extensible systems.

• Write great code, implement architectures, design components, and deliver a robust high-volume production cloud-based platform.
• Work with team to rapidly drive a project from a simple idea to prototype to an implementation.
• Collaborate, communicate, and generally work well with an interdisciplinary team.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO

• Write great code, implement architectures, design components, and deliver a robust high-volume production cloud-based platform.

YOU HAVE 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN

• Building full stack cloud services (AWS/Google Cloud) including DevOps experience (DNS/load balancing, security, firewalls, etc.)
• Strong understanding of the following web technologies (HTTP, AJAX, JSON, CSS, REST APIs, etc.)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.), deployment and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), distributed storage (Hadoop, S3), and system monitoring tools (Splunk).
• Development in Java, JavaScript (MVC frameworks like Angular/Ember), Node.js, C, C++, Unix/Linux and mobile platforms (Android, iOS).
• Proficient with at least one shell and high-level scripting language (Bash, Perl, Python).
• Understanding of open source server software and ability to integrate with commercial technologies to build a cloud platform.

• BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent.
