Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. You will play a key part in developing enterprise-level cloud solutions, troubleshooting issues, and leveraging automation to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and services tailored to enterprise needs.

Manage and troubleshoot cloud environments, including serverless delivery systems and data recovery solutions.

Administer virtual machines, operating systems, and integrations with third-party cloud platforms.

Implement automation tools and service-based technologies to streamline processes and optimize system performance.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and apply them to enhance the functionality and security of cloud-based environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions into existing IT infrastructure.

Monitor and maintain system health, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

Provide guidance and recommendations for improving cloud architecture and operational efficiency.

Document processes and procedures to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience demonstrating attention to detail.

At least 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and cloud systems.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and Office 365 platforms.

Hands-on experience with Conditional Access, Intune, and Microsoft Purview.

Proficiency in managing systems, storage solutions, and data backup tools.

Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification is highly preferred.

Solid understanding of system and network infrastructure design, including servers and networking technologies.

Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-grade cloud architectures.
