Job summary

Integral Federal, Inc. is seeking an Oracle/SQL Database Administrator in the Tysons, VA area to support VA enterprise systems. You will manage Oracle and SQL Server databases, tune performance, ensure security, and oversee migrations to modern VA cloud platforms.

The role includes supporting migration tooling (Liquibase, Flyway, GoldenGate, DMS, AWS Glue) and maintaining data dictionaries and documentation. Public Trust may be required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of Oracle/SQL administration experience.
• Experience with DDL/DML, query tuning, backup/recovery, security, and data masking.
• Experience with migration tools Liquibase, Flyway, GoldenGate, DMS, AWS Glue.
• Experience with cloud database migration/modernization (AWS/VAEC).
• Maintaining Data Dictionaries, Physical Data Models, and DB documentation.
• Experience with CM processes, licensing management, certificates, and upgrade scheduling.
• Public Trust clearance or POSSESSION of it.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle and SQL Server databases and support ETL/ELT processes.
• Provide admin support: setup, maintenance, and optimization of databases.
• Perform DDL/DML operations, query tuning, performance optimization, and general DB support.
• Support migration planning, validation, and data migration strategies.
• Assist migration/re-hosting to VA cloud platforms such as BIP VAEC.
• Implement, configure, and support migration tools (Liquibase, Flyway, DMS, GoldenGate, AWS Glue).
• Govern all changes per VA CM processes.
• Manage licenses, maintenance agreements, certificates, and upgrades.
• Maintain data dictionaries, physical data models, and SOPs.
