Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevSecOps Platform Engineer to support and enhance enterprise DevSecOps platforms, including GitHub, Jenkins, and Sonatype products, with a focus on AWS-hosted infrastructure and Amazon EKS.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform platform maintenance and upgrades, develop automation, and drive security and operational improvements to keep critical systems available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience administering Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Linux systems administration, and enterprise networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps technologies such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Sonatype products.
• Experience developing scripts in Python or Bash.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and firewalls.
• Ability to investigate and resolve unfamiliar technical problems independently.
• Bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance enterprise DevSecOps platforms including GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins.
• Maintain and upgrade AWS-hosted infrastructure, including EKS.
• Develop automation to improve platform reliability and security.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and remediate operational risks.
